Earth Altars

An ongoing devotion of ephemeral offerings to the Earth and of the Earth. These altars are created from flowers and natural materials, placed in relationship with the land as gestures of reverence, prayer, and connection. Each altar exists as both offering and expression — an act of communion with spirit, with the more-than-human world, and with the heart. Flowers that have lived a full cycle on my home altar are returned to the land, carrying the prayers and intentions they have absorbed. In returning them to the soil, the practice becomes both a cycle of reciprocity and a renewed connection with the greater Home. This practice has been ongoing since 2023 and continues to unfold across different landscapes, documented through photography as a record of each ephemeral altar.

This practice informs my ceremonial work, where I hold space for communal reflection and ritual aligned with the cycles of the cosmos.
