Dia de los Muertos Ofrenda & Ceremony

Meraki Spaces, San Diego CA

This ceremony honored the Mexican tradition of Dia de Los Muertos, a time of year when ancestors and other loved ones are honored by building an altar or ofrenda. Participants were encouraged to bring photos, candles, or other offerings to place onto the ofrenda during ceremony, weaving individual remembrance into a shared space of connection. Victoria guided participants through a grief-centered reflection, offered gentle instruction on how to place and tend their items on the altar, and provided Reiki during the sound bath. The evening closed with a shared serving of cacao and open circle for folks to share their hearts.
